January Recap
Cole is doing great and getting so big. He had hid doctors appointment right after Christmas and he had only gained 1 pound in 3 months, not good. The doctor thinks that his body doesn't absorb the calories very well, because he is eating enough. So, we put him on a high calorie diet and we went back 3 weeks later and he gained a pound. Before the high calorie diet, he was barely holding his head up and not really doing a lot. Just after gaining the 1 pound, he was holding his head up and he was even starting to sit (a little) with a lot of help. Chris and I went on a vacation for a week with out the kids and we came back and he is reaching his arms up to play with things, starting to want to role over (hopefully soon), and almost sitting by himself. He has also gained 2 pounds in the last week and a half. He is getting so big now. It is great to find out how to fix things and see the changes so quickly.
Like I said, Chris and I went on a vacation with my family. We went to Cozumel and went scuba diving. My whole family went except for Stacy and Artie, we really missed you guys! My faster sister, Sheila, and her family, Rusty, Amber, and Brandon, even came. It was so great to see them again and spend a whole week together! We had so much fun driving. I forgot the disc with the pictures on it at my parent's house, so I will post pictures later. The craziest thing that happened to me was that I was diving just off the shore from our resort and I was swimming through an opening in the coral, I look down in the hole that was right next to me and there was a Nurse Shark right there, I could have touched him, he was so close. It kind of freaked me out because I was not thinking that sharks would be in so close to the shore with so many boat going in and out of there. I am fine, if anyone was wondering, he did not attack me. We saw many other cool things-Sea turtles, stingrays, really big grouper, barracuda, and a lot more. We had such a great time. I can't wait for the next dive trip!
Now we are back and getting ready for February. The boys have a race this weekend. They are really excited about that. Saundra and Michael are getting married on the 12th. I am so excited and happy for them!
That is all we have planned for February. Maybe I will be able to do better with posting. We will see.

Christmas
I really liked getting my pressure cooker. I can't wait to try it out. Thanks mom. My mom is the greatest.
I spent almost all day in the kitchen making a big turkey dinner. It was our first time by ourselves for Christmas, we always have turkey on Christmas, so I thought I should do this nice dinner. It was my first time making a turkey and everything that goes with it, except mashed potatoes (I have made those). I made everything, a nice yummy maple glazed turkey with cornbread stuffing, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole and homemade bread. It all turned out great, but it was way too much work. I will keep it simple next time. I would rather be playing with my kids then making a big fancy dinner (that can wait until they are bigger and they appreciate it more).
We had a great time spending some time with our family in Tucson and then enjoying our own time of just us. We hope that everyone else had a great Christmas also.
We wish everyone a Happy New Year!!!

Update
There is always a pirate day. You can't go a week, surrounded by water and not pretend you are pirates. This is always the favorite day for the kids, maybe even the adults. This picture is of the treasure hunt.
I was told that Parker's favorite thing was to ride the jet skis.
Riley in the tube.
Parker grew some new, crazy hair on the trip. He really did not like it at first, but he got used to it.
My cliff jumpers. This was always on of my favorite things to do.
It was Riley's birthday on the last day of the trip. Isn't he so lucky? I think so.
Then of course we had to go camping. This is our very beautiful family picture (we will not be using this one for our Christmas card) during our long, up hill hike. So fun!
Parker always seemed to find a way to look like this after only being out of the trailer for 10 minutes. I really loved the dirt finger marks down his right eye. We has a tone of fun camping but I didn't take very many pictures. Camping trips are always too short. Oh, well.
