Putting Parker to work

First he helped me do the dishes. Isn't he doing a great job?
Then he mopped the floor. He is working so hard.
Then he found some sunglasses and he is just way too cool he work now.

Our Zoo

Jacob has been on the look out for frogs this last week. They are all over the place at night. He has caught about 7 of them. What fun! We also had a turtle come into our yard. It stayed for a couple of day and decided to get out. Jacob and Riley tried to cover all the hole in the fence, but I guess they missed one. Crazy animals.

Best of Luck

My friend,Celeste, just moved to Main, so we had a little going away party for her. It was a lot of fun. The kids have a great time playing together. You truly will be missed, Celeste. We wish you and your family the best of luck. Jacob did inform me that the good thing about Main is that it is the one state that does not have any poisonous snakes. So, at least you are good there. I am sure that will help you sleep at night. Thank you Jacob for that information.

Football

Jacob has been playing flag football. He had his first game on Saturday. His team won, 14 to 7. I had so much fun watching them. Jacob didn't get to play much because this is only his first year. He did a great job at blocking when he was on offence. Jacob had so much fun playing, that is all that matters.
They even had cheerleaders. They were so cute. At times I caught my self watching them more then the game. So much fun!

More of Riley's Birthday

We needed to have a friend's party. I decided to take Riley and his 2 best friends to McDonald's. I was really busy all week and did not have time to plan a party. It didn't seem to make any difference. They had a blast. I think all kids love McDonald's.

Then we went to the park to open presents and climb on the tree. What a bunch of monkeys.
Then yesterday we went over to my parent's house and Riley got his presents from then. My dad had to get him a set of golf clubs. He didn't act very excited at the time that he opened them, but when we got back home, he was super excited to show them to Jacob and Chris (they had to stay home). Now it is time to plan a golf day!

Happy Birthday Riley!!!

We went to Pinetop for the long weekend and we had Riley's birthday there. We had so much fun. Riley got some great presents (thank you grandma and grandpa Schagel). Chris's parents went with us. They watched the boys for us a couple of times so that Chris and I could go riding. It is always fun to get away.
The day after Riley's birthday, he falls and busts his lip open. We had to take a nice trip to the ER. What a fun place to go when you are on vacation. Oh, well. He had to get 3 stitches and he was awesome. The doctor thought he was asleep (it was really late) while he was stitching him up because he did not move an inch. What a tough kid.

Cousins

Last week we were able to go to my sister, Stacy's place and have dinner with them. The kids always have so much fun when they are together. I am so glad they get along (for the most part, they are getting much better). Cousins are the greatest.
