T-Ball

Jacob had his first t-ball game last night. It was a lot of fun. T-ball is so funny because most of the kids have no idea what they are doing. Poor Jacob had to wear jean because the sore here was closed yesterday and we only have white and gray baseball pants, not black. Oh, well. He doesn't mind. I also love his red cleats. Red is his favorite color. So, when he saw them he had to have them. Jacob has a lot of fun playing. I am so glad. We have a lot of fun watching him. We are just sad that Riley is not old enough to play yet. Next year.

Hair cut

Parker got his first hair cut yesterday. He was not so sure about the clippers, but he did very well. I don't know if he really needed a hair cut yet, but Chris hates it when boys hair hangs over their ears and he said that he was looking girly. Which is not true. Oh, well. Now he is bald and it will grow back. Good thing.
Don't you love my totally out dated bathroom. I hate rentals.

Crazy couple of weeks

Well, after Jacob got better from his pneumonia, we headed off for Disneyland. We had a blast. We were there (in Disneyland) 2.5 days and we saw everything. Jacob and Riley's favorite ride is Space Mountain, which is good because that is my favorite also. Parker's favorite was the parades. He loved watching everything go by. We saw 2 parades and then the big Fantasia show Friday night. Parker would get really mad if he couldn't see, it was kind of funny.

The fam. with Mickey Mouse. Parker was not sure of him.

Parker relaxing in the car ride. I love his hat.
My mom got it for him.

Jacob and Riley in Tarzan's tree house.

Chris and Parker watching Fantasia. Parker loved it.

Saundra, Riley, Stacy, Tyler, Stevie, and Jacob in Nemo's submarine.

And we had to do the tea cup. That is one of my favorites.

Then we got home on Sunday. Jacob had school the next day. Everything was great. On Tuesday morning the nurse at the school calls me and said that Jacob had a seizure and the paramedics were on their way. Soooo scary. I rush up there and call Chris on my way. Jacob looked so bad and the nurse said he was looking a ton better. He was so very sickly pale. We brought him home and called his doctors. They didn't need to see him because he was stable. He was all make to his normal self by lunch time because he had 2 things of easy mac and a hot dog for lunch. He eats sooo much food. No one ever believes us until they see him eat. I have no idea where he puts it because he is not very big.

On the go

I have been meaning to bost this for a couple of days now, but I have been just a little busy.

This is how Parker gets around. He can now get himself up on his hands and knees but he chooses to pull himself along the floor. He doesn't move very fast but he gets where he wants to be. What ever works.

Sick Kids

I ended up having to take Jacob to the doctors yesterday. He was at school and the nurse called me because he was wheezy. He has been coughing for the last couple of days, but he has not been acting sick. I thought the cough was because it has been soooo stinkin windy here. He has been going into the office every day for recess to get out of the wind and the nurse has been listening to him. But, yesterday there was wheezing. So, I took the nebulizer (breathing machine for people with asthma) down to the school and gave him a treatment. After the treatment the nurse listened to him and still wheezing. Not good. I called the doctor and they want to see him. We rush to get ready and we take off. It took me 2 hours to get to his doctors, I ended up being 10 minutes late. There was no one else in the doctors office because we were the first appt. after lunch. We waited for an hour to see the doctor. I have never had to wait that long. We didn't get to see our doctor because he is out of town. I was in a really bad mood at this point. Parker was really sleepy because I had to wake him up to go to the school and he never fell back asleep. And he missed his real lunch because we were in the car and then the doctor's office for soooooo long. All he got was a bottle and that was just not enough. It was really not fun. But, I am glad that I took Jacob because he ended up having pneumonia. It is just the start of it and only in the right side. So, I hope that since we caught it soon enough that it will go away really fast. I also had her listen to Parker because he has also been sick. He sounded fine. Good thing! So, we finally mad it back home at about 9:30 last night. I am really glad that I ended up taking Jacob in. As I was sitting waiting for the doctor I was thinking that I would be really mad if she came in and told me nothing was wrong with him. I hope he will be better soon.
At least I got to see my family for a little bit.

Update

This was a great weekend. It started off with going to my sister, Stacy's on Friday. We had a blast just hanging out and eating a lot of great food. This is a picture of Parker hanging out on their new grass. Doesn't it look so nice and wonderful? I wish I had nice grass at my house. Jacob and Riley had a great time playing with their cousins, the chickens, jumping on the trampling, and riding in the go cart. Chris's mom and sister also met us there. It was really nice to see them. Chris's sister, Catherine, lives in Utah so it was great seeing her. This other picture is of Riley and his cousin Tyler relaxing in the basket under the hammock. It was great. We all had a fun time.
After dinner my sister, Saundra, came home with me and spent the rest of the weekend with us. We had a full out party Saturday. We slept in and just relaxed in the morning. Then we went and got McD's for lunch, because Jacob got a free smart meal from school. We took our lunch to the park. When we got there the wind picked up and almost blew our food away. Parker and I sat in the car since he had a little runny nose, so that Saundra, Jacob, and Riley could play for a bit. After we all had enough wind we went to the library, where we spent the next hour looking at, reading, and picking out books. We got a lot of books read. Then we headed off to the movies to see Horten Hears A Who. It was really cute. I didn't get to see all of it because by that time Parker was way passed his nap time. I thought he would just fall asleep and sleep during the movie. Boy, was I wrong. Oh, well. He fell a sleep during the last 10 minutes. Thanks Parker. We were going to eat dinner outside until the wind picked up again. So, we took the picnic inside. We played some board game and then got some ice cream from DQ. Wow, I am really going to have to workout next week. It was all worth it. We had the best time. Thank you Saundra for coming to visit us.
