A Long Time

I know it has been forever since I have posted. Since my last post -

Jacob turned 9 years old.
Parker let Cole try M&Ms. Needless to say, Cole really liked them.
Jacob and Riley had some friends over and they had a camp out in the backyard. They had a blast! We went to the Gila Valley Temple open house. I loved being able to take the boys into the Temple. It has been 2 months since the open house and the boys still talk about it. It is so amazingly beautiful. Jacob gave Riley a beautiful black eye. He hit him with a bat. He didn't break anything, but it sure looked good.

Baseball is over.Cole got his first haircut. He was so good, just sat there and let Chris cut it.Doesn't he look so good? Now that I am up to date, I will really try and do better.

It's Baseball Time

I love when baseball season comes! This year it is a little more crazy than last year because Jacob and Riley are on different teams. That means practice at the same time, at different places and games at the same time at different places. It is really hard to be in 2 places at once. At least this is a small town and it only takes a couple of minutes to get from place to place and the game field are really close, there is just a parking lot between them. Jacob and 2 of his really good friends (Tanner and Coleman) getting ready for the parade.Riley and his friend Cael also getting ready.Parker and I watching the parade go by, waiting for some candy.I took all the boys home with me after the parade. It was a nice ward day and so they decided to play in the water and then lay out to dry off. They are so crazy. Then the games began. Riley had a game first. He did great.Jacob had a game a couple of nights later. He got a hit off the very first pitch. He did so good. Riley's coach took them to DQ after the game. The girl who works there is in my church class, she had a messed up cone and she held it out and asked me if I wanted it, Cole grabbed a hold of it and was not going to let it go. That was the first time he had ice cream and he sure loved it.
I love the look he was giving Riley "You better not touch this cone or you are going to die!" Haha. I love it.

Jacob's projects and awards

Jacob has been going crazy with really cool projects.

This was a project for school that he had to make out of candy. It was called candy creations. He had a blast making this beach. His brothers really liked eating the candy. Jacob's teacher liked it so much that she asked him to take it to the office so that the whole school could see it. This is Jacob at the science fair. His project was shaking cream to make butter. He had to see if cold cream or room temperature cream make butter faster. He found out that the cold cream made butter a lot faster. This was a tough project. It is not easy shaking cream for 17 minutes. It was a great arm workout. Jacob won 1st place at the science fair. His prize was $100. He was super excited. This is Jacob with a tool box that him and Chris made for one of his scout projects. He did a great job and they seemed to have had a great time doing it. This is Jacob after he was awarded his wolf, now he is a bear!

Jacob has so much fun with these projects. I am so proud of him!

Team Schagel

We had a race this last weekend in Globe. We had so much fun!Riley in front #6. Jacob right behind him #61.Two thumbs up. They must have had fun. Jacob got 8th in his age group (a big group) and Riley took 2nd in his age group. Great job boys!I decided that I could try this race thing out. This was my first race and I had so much fun. They started a women's beginner group, which rides with some of the older kids. There was no way I would be able to do the adult course. I took 2nd in my group (out of 3, haha). I think I did pretty good for my first time. Check out my air in the picture!I also had the best fans ever! We love having Saundra and Michael come and visit us. Thanks guys for coming and cheering us on.These are our way cool jerseys that have our last name on the back. Chris had the toughest course. He got to ride in a big mud pit. He was covered from head to toe in mud. He did great! He took 1st in his group. Way to go! It took him over 3 hours to wash all the mud off, him and his bike, and I don't think he got it all. Oh, the things you have to do to have fun.

The Wedding

My sister, Saundra, got married on February 12th. It was so wonderful and beautiful! Congratulations Saundra and Michael.
Saundra and Michael with all their kids. Haha! Ok. All their nieces and nephews. Here are the most handsome boys in the whole world. They sure looked good!

I forgot!

I forgot to mention that Parker got potty trained about a month ago. It is so nice only having to get diapers for one. This was one of the greatest things that happened in January! The only problem now is he can't keep his pants up without the diaper holding them. Oh well. I would rather use a belt than diapers.
