New dew

I chopped all my hair off yesterday. I have never had it this short. I think that I really like it. Sorry for the shine. The flash was on when it didn't need to be and Jacob was taking the picture.

Apple Annie's

We went out to Apple Annie's to pick peaches. We had so much fun, even if it was really hot. This is Jacob and Riley on the tracker ride out to the peaches. It is always fun going on a tracker ride!
Parker trying to figure out if this is a ball or not. He really likes balls and so he things everything round is a ball.
Here are all the peaches we picked. That is a lot. I think too many, but oh well.

Summer Is Coming To An End

The library activities are done. They have a really good summer library program here. They have different activities and guest come in every week. This summer it was all about bugs. Way cool for boys. The last day they had a big party and a prize give away. Riley won this Kung Fu Panda poster, which everyone wanted and 2 passes to the movie theater. He was really excited that he won. He had to rush home and put it on his wall.
Jacob took a clay class this summer and last week was the end. So, he got to bring home the things he made. He was really excited to show us. He made a pot and a fish wall hanging. He did a great job for it being his first time working with clay.

Jacob and Riley did a football camp last week. They had a ton of fun. Jacob is going to be starting the football league this week . Riley is still too young he is kind of sad about that. But, there is nothing we can do until next year.

So, our fun summer is coming to an end very quickly. School starts next week, Jacob and Riley are very excited.

Peanut Butter & Jelly

This song is sung by a group called Insideout Acappella. I think this is the funniest song. Jacob and Riley laugh when ever I play it, they even know all the words now. I hope you enjoy it.

Camping

We had a blast camping this last week. My sisters, Saundra and Stevie, went with us. Chris made a great swing for the boys, it could go really high. We went hiking, played in the water (that was really cold), played cards, collected firewood, played hide and go seek in the dark (way fun, Chris helped Riley find some really good spots), had our gatorade cap races in the stream, and just relaxing. Thank you Saundra and Stevie for coming and having fun with us.

The Lake

We went to the lake a couple of weeks ago, with Chris's brother, Ken and his family. We had so much fun even though it was really hot. Parker and Jordis. I was really glad that Parker didn't mind wearing his life jacket.
Jacob and Alexis.
Riley and Hayden on the tube.

Catching up

Then I was at Girl's Camp for the week. I had so much fun. Our theme was "build upon the rock", that is why we are all around the rock. We had 9 girls total from our ward and only 4 stayed in the cabin with us (the ward leaders). 3 of the girls were youth leaders, who were in different cabins and the other 2 were 4th level, who stayed in tents. We really had a blast and we ate really good food. They made homemade bread for everything. It was great and crazy.

It was Parker's Birthday on the 6th. He didn't like getting all messy, but Jacob and Riley made him. It was really funny. I can not believe that my baby is 1 years old. Time goes by way too fast.

The 4th of July was fun. We didn't do anything big. We had a couple who will be moving into our ward in a couple of weeks, come over for dinner (hamburgers). Then we went to the high school for the fireworks. Parker was not sure of them at first. he never cried, but he sure wanted to get out of there. About half way he got to the point that he would sit there and watch them.
