Cole is 2 weeks old

OK, so I am trying to get back into life. Cole is now 2 weeks old and doing well. He just had a doctors appointment and he lost weight. The doctor has no idea what is going on because he looks so good. The doctor thinks it could be one of 2 things, the scale could have been wrong last week when he was weighed or that he has a really high metabolism. So, the doctor put Cole on a higher calorie diet and we need to go back next week to get weighed again. All in all things are really good. The boys all love their baby brother. Parker is still really good with him, he will let other people hold him now. Jacob and Riley are loving school. Things are good!

He is Here!!!!!!

Cole Berner Schagel was born today, August 7, @ 9:20am.
7.0# 19 in. he has lots of hair and is as cute as can be.
We are all doing great and can't wait to get out of the hospital. Parker can't wait to get him home too. If he is near the baby he has to be holding him. What a big brother.

Baby Update

On Thursday my friends had a surprise baby shower for me. I was really surprised because I really don't need anything. I have such great friends. Thank you so very much, Jordan, Kay, and Sarah! I had so much fun. It has been way too long since I have been able to just hangout with my friends.

I had a doctors appointment on Friday and everything is going well. I am already dilated to 2 and so if I am on the same track that I was with the other boys, then I on;y have 2 weeks left. Yeah!!! It is getting way too hot here. I have another appointment this Friday. I will let you know how things are going.

Oh, does anyone have any suggestions for a name for the baby? We are having a hard time thinking of another boys name that we like.

4th of July weekend

We had a great weekend in Pintop with my parents and Saundra ans Michael. It was really nice to get away and just relax and have fun. The cooler weather was definitely a plus.

The gang getting ready for the fireworks. All my crazy boys.Jacob, Parker, and Riley watching morning cartoons. We also celebrated Parker's 2nd Birthday while we were there. He loved blowing out the candles and licking the frosting off the cake.

We did lots of other fun stuff, I just didn't have my camera to take pictures of them. Some of the things we did were: hike, shop at the craft shows, ride bikes (just the boys, not me), golf (again, just the boys), play cards, and just hangout. We had a great time.

Catching

Jacob and Riley both got to play the catcher at the last game.

Riley was the catcher the first inning.Jacob was the catcher the second inning.

They only play 2 innings because all the players get to bat every inning. So, it takes longer. It was a lot of fun watching them catch and they had a great time doing it.

Ok, sorry for the really long post. I am trying to catch up.

Jacob had a great birthday. Jacob on his birthday (the family party). Yes, that is a Christmas bag, it was the only one I had that was big enough. Then he had his friend party. They all had a ton of fun. We just had water games (slip and slide, sprinklers, water balloons, and squirt guns). Since Jacob turned 8, he was baptized. I still can't believe that I have a kid who is baptized. I am getting so old. The baptism was so wonderful. Chris took all 3 boys to Father and Sons camp out this year. It was so great having some time all to my self. That is one of the greatest parts about having all boys. Jacob and Riley are out of school for the summer. Riley even had a graduation ceremony. It was really cute. His class was the only one to have any thing because his teacher put it together. Yeah, now all the summer fun begins. I will post about that later when it all starts (next week).

All in all it was a great month.

Happy Birthday Jacob!!!

I can not believe that my little Jacob is 8 years old. He is getting so big. I love having Jacob around, he brings peace with him where ever he goes. Jacob is also a very good big brother and he is very excited to have another brother soon. I hope you have a wonderful Birthday Jacob! I love you.

T-ball is still going great. They are now letting the couches pitch to the kids if the kids want them too. Jacob and Riley are both loving that.

The wind wasn't that bad last weekend, so the boys got out the sprinkler and ran around. When they were done I I look out side and there they were laying out in the sun. It was just too cute to pass up taking a picture. I love how Parker had to put his hands under his chin just like the other two. So much fun!
